Would you like to participate in the Fethiye Film Festival 2025?
Theme: “From local to universal” – Fethiye’s natural beauty meets the language of cinema.
We are delighted to welcome directors who live in Fethiye, were born here, or have produced work here to our festival. To support the work of directors producing short films locally and increase their visibility, we are creating a special selection called “LOCAL PERSPECTIVE” this year.
Applications for LOCAL PERSPECTIVE, which is considered separately from the 3rd Fethiye International Film Festival Screening Selection, will be evaluated by a separate 3-person jury to form the LOCAL PERSPECTIVE SELECTION.

🔹 Participation Requirements:
Films for the LOCAL PERSPECTIVE section must be no longer than 20 minutes.
The director or the film must have a connection to Fethiye (residence, filming location, subject, etc.).
* Short Fiction, Experimental, Animation, and Documentary films can be submitted to the YEREL BAKIŞ screening selection of the festival.
* Films submitted to the YEREL BAKIŞ screening selection of the festival must have been produced in 2020 or later.
* The owners of the works applying to the festival must send the following information to the festival committee if the work is selected for screening:
– Screening copy of the film (DCP or at least 4K)
– English subtitles for the film, or Turkish and English subtitles if the film is not in Turkish.
– The film’s trailer link
– The film’s poster (in A3 or A4 format)
– Promotional images of the film (4 photos)
– The film’s synopsis (in Turkish and English)
* The technical information of the work selected for the festival (poster, trailer, and synopsis) may be displayed on the festival’s website or social media accounts for promotional purposes.
* Trailers of films selected for the festival’s LOCAL PERSPECTIVE screening may be displayed on social media for promotional purposes.
* If the materials listed above are not submitted to the festival management by the specified date, the selection committee reserves the right to remove the work from the festival program.
